We all know that Wi-Fi troubleshooting can be a complex and time-consuming task. One of our jobs at AirMagnet is to design tools that make Wi-Fi troubleshooting easier! Most in the wireless world understand that visibility of the Wi-Fi spectrum and clear issue diagnosis is a fundamental element for operating a reliable WLAN, no matter how large or small your business is. Traditionally, tools have either targeted the expert with all the bells and whistles (and cost), or been single function freeware tools for the hobbyist, unable to solve read-world issues.

Today, we're building on our promise to make Wi-Fi troubleshooting easier to accomplish, by launching AirMedic USB. The product uses the universal USB form factor to give users the flexibility of installing and using the application on a Microsoft Corp. Windows PC or Apple Inc. MacBook Pro, and delivers unique capabilities not found in competitive solutions. Furthermore, AirMedic USB allows a user to quickly determine what part of a WLAN is experiencing RF interference issues and how that impacts performance (such as slow connections or frequent disconnection). It also helps users find the best channel for deploying APs in their environment for maximized performance, and has a built-in library of spectrum graphs and Wi-Fi charts, arming the user with all the information they need to troubleshoot problems in the WLAN.

AirMedic USB is available now. For more feature information, read more (or watch a 10 minute flash product tour) at www.airmagnet.com/products/airmedic_usb
